Well it was a crazy week. Despite some overtime at work for end of financial year I still managed to fit all my workouts in at the gym and the Kayla Itsines BBG plus a few pilates classes.
All I can say is this program really works! In 2 weeks I can already notice changes and I would say with the combined effort I’ve put in with weight training and pilates it’s really showing me some quick and positive results.
Monday - Leg day is still a killer. The burn in my legs that I feel is crazy and I’ve decided that 7 minutes can be a very long time when you are involving lunge jumps. I was sweating, puffing and hurting but once its over it’s so worth it.
Arms and abs – Of course this always falls the day after I do a serious ab sesh at pilates (my pilates instructor must know that every Wednesday this is what I do). My arms were burning, my abs were burning and I’m slowly getting the strength back in my arms to do push ups after I literally couldn’t do them anymore after my operation. I didn’t get a chance to do the full body workout until Sunday. I forced myself to go the gym to do it so I wouldn’t be distracted by the episodes of Shahs of Sunset I wanted to watch from the comfort of my trackies, blanket and lounge. I by far enjoy the full body workout days but it’s no less a killer. I don’t remember the last time I was sweating that hard and I literally had to lay on the ground for a good few minutes afterwards to get myself together.
Whoever said a half hour workout isn’t effective is lying. THIS WORKS!
